Site Name

The site name, Quintessence means:
The most perfect embodiment of something; the purest or most typical instance.

As a graphic designer, my goal is to be able to create something that is "perfect." Though I will never achieve this, I will try to get as close as possible.
The word reflects my goal, so I used it for this site.

History

This is actually the last of a couple of graphics sites I've owned. I've either moved on, lost, or lost interest in the other ones, the most recent one being Autumn-Storm.NET. Autumn-Storm.NET was one of my longest projects going from a broad graphics site to more avatar oriented and then expanded yet again.
On February 14, 2007, however, it suddenly expired without a warning. At that point, I contemplated giving up making a graphic site since I already had Shuiyun, a collaborated avatar community. But I decided that I wanted something to put up some of my best works, so here is a small archive, created on February 24, 2007.
